Franz Schubert (Claudine von Villa Bella) & W.A. Mozart (Die Zauberflöte)

October 1 – December 20th, 2019

Welcome Days last week of September 2019

Module open to Erasmus+ students, duration of 3 months is made possible and the tuition fees are waived.

From 2018 to 2028 (200th anniversary of the death of Franz Schubert), the ABPU is embarking on an effort to stage a series of performances encompassing the entire oeuvre of Franz Schubert. As part of this series, a performance of the singspiel Claudine von Villa Bella in collaboration with the ABPU Symphony Orchestra – under the direction of the renowned conductor Michi Gaigg (L’Orfeo) - will be presented in October 2019.

Simultaneously the Dept. for Voice and Music Theatre is working on a new edition of The magic Flute for Youngsters and those who have remained young in spirit and is going to present a series of performances in December 2019 at ABPU.

Additionally to participating in the above mentioned opera productions, EOA students will have an opportunity to perform at a Schubert-Lieder-Recital featured in the Schubert-Series.
